Maddie:

When I first met Marlene I was just about to turn 16 years old. That's ten years ago, now. I remember that Marlene was commanding, she kind of always had the attention of the room just by being in it. She's really smart, she's hilarious, she's argumentative and she's a fantastic baker. 

 

Here's the catch: Marlene and I did not get along in high school. For the majority of it, I would say we weren't even friends. But, then we started baking together, we went to college together, we became really good friends. She's the perfect person to start baking with. She has delicious, original recipes. She loves flavor. And, she loves things that taste really good and won't settle for anything less.

Since becoming friends, Marlene and I have spent Christmas's together, we've hosted New Year's Eve Parties, we've done a lot of cooking, decorating, organizing, and planning. It seems fitting that we're both back in Miami for a while, both ready to try something new. Welcome to Maddie and Marly make!
